I was born and raised in Athens, Greece, in a family of artists and artisans, from a very early age the playfulness and joy of arts and crafts just seemed natural to me.
I started making jewellery, parallel to my studies in Graphic Design back in 1994, first just for me and some good friends.
Their encouragement and zest, lead me to try reaching a wider audience and with their support, I did my first jewellery collection.
At the same time, I started working in DESTE Art Foundation and collaborating with their art shop.
I participated in many special events there and in shows in art galleries in Athens.
I was also particularly interested in the favours for weddings and baptisms which I started designing back in 2001.
Creating things with my hands is always a great joy for me. During the years I experimented with diverse materials and techniques but I am always returning to –resin. I simply love its transparency, its endless possibilities to incorporate and highlight tiny details of other materials, its constant transformation through light.
I prefer simple lines and a minimal design giving space to these fragile elements to unfold their stories.
I hope you will enjoy them too!
Thank you for your visit!
