We named it Argus from the legent of Greek Mythology "Argus Panoptes "

"Argus" is derived from the ancient Greek word Argos, which means bright or shining. Its a fitting name for a creature whose eys never dim. Panoptes 

on the other hand translates to all seeing empasizing his role as an eternal watcher
